Freya Muir

Freya is the research coordinator for the ESA-Future Earth Joint Program, supporting Global Research Network activities using Earth Observation. She is based at the European Space Agency ECSAT office in Oxford, UK. Freya’s PhD focused on using satellite data and AI techniques to monitor and model coastal change in real time. She also has an MSc in Geographical Information Science and BSc in Geology and Physical Geography. Her passions lie in using Earth Observation to identify and understand patterns in Earth’s surface systems, and communicating these findings to broad audiences.
