Workshop – Bright Spots: Seeds of ‘Good’ Anthropocenes

The workshop organised as side event of PECS 2015 conference and the 2015 in-person meeting of the Scientific Steering Committee of ecoSERVICES set an impressive work plan for further development of the project!

On 6-7 November 2015, the project team of “Bright Spots: Seeds of a Good Anthropocene”, a Future Earth project co-led by ecoSERVICES and the Programme on Ecosystem Change and Society (PECS), and colleagues met to discuss the way forward for the collection of new seeds (in addition to the circa 200 already collected; you can submit a seed here!), their analysis and communication of project results.

The workshop was an opportunity to strengthen collaboration with the Mountain Futures conference to be held on 1-4 March 2016 in Kunming, China.
